These bad boys will set you back, on
average, $30-$40 bones (USD) a
single 3700ct bag.
Pros:
These are high-end BBs for high-end airsoft guns.  There’s no way around that.  Are they worth the price?  I’d
have to say yes, every penny.  You’ll notice there are lots and lots of claims in the stats.  Fortunately, they’
re all true.  Bioval’s BBBMAX BBs are 100% natural.  While other companies might claim to be U.S.D.A. certified
(WTF?!), Bioval’s BBs are certified by the Environmental Protection Agency as leaving zero carbon imprint.  And,
because they’re non-toxic, should you just happen to get shot in the mouth and gulp down one of these, you’ve
got nothing to worry about whatsoever.  BBBMAX BBs are also pressure molded into their shape.  You will NEVER
experience a chopped BB like you do with Excell BBs (both bio and regs), and other various high-end BBs.
Because of this process, they’re also extremely dense, meaning should you shoot some dumbass in the face who’s
wearing a mesh mask (we don’t condone them whatsoever) with these BBs, they won’t explode into harmful little
pieces of shrapnel unlike most other biodegradables on the market.  These babies are also perfectly spherical.
What does this mean?  Based on the molding process, each BB is roughly identical in size and shape.  This is
best tested when shooting out a 6.01 barrel, which we did, with flawless results.  Those familiar with Newton
(F=M*A) should realize that the heavier weight also not only means you’ll get a more accurate shot but the BBs
will maintain more impact force than the .25 or .20bbs airsofters normally play with, which also means you’re
more likely to hear players call their hits.  While I found that my FPS was lower, I actually gained range and
accuracy with these BBs and the fact that they’re transparent reassures me that when I hit someone, even if I
didn’t move to another point of cover, my position would still be somewhat secure.  I should also note that when
shooting my WE 1911 Officer, accuracy and range was also improved with the .27s.
Cons:
While there’s mostly good to say about these BBs, there are a few points to address here as well.  First and
foremost is the price.  Yes, they’re expensive and come in relatively smaller counts per volume than other BBs
on the market.  But again, these are high-end BBs meant for high-end airsoft guns so the price increase is to
be expected.  All one has to do is look to gas as a prime example with this being the equivalent of high-octane
fuel.  Being a heavier weight BB means if you’re still stuck in the 2000-2005 era, bumping boy band CDs in your
Accord, shooting a stock Marui (230-280fps) while rocking that antique 8.4v NiCad battery, you’re going to be
experiencing some extreme underperformance assuming your AEG can actually produce enough juice to cycle.  A TM
MP5 that fits the above description failed to shoot a magazine loaded with these BBs.  However, with a LiPo,
the A3 was able to push the BBs, but performance was still highly disappointing.  Ironically, there’s also a
flip side to this.  Being high-end BBs, you’d expect that all high-end airsoft guns would work with them.
While that is the case with most, there is one that doesn’t… the Systema PTW.  While performance was definitely
improved, we were surprised to learn that such an “esteemed” AEG would have potentially the lamest Achilles
heel in the sport.  The focus nozzle on the PTW not only has considerably too much play, but due to this and
the cheap pot metal it’s constructed from, I’ve personally seen several instances where it dents after
prolonged shooting of the BBBMAX BBs.  This happens because the focus nozzle, due to the play, hits the BB at
an angle and causes the cheap metal to dent on the cup, deforming shape which further means that every
consecutive shot thereafter will be off kilter, lowering performance considerably and forcing the user to
repeatedly replace the nozzle or choose different BBs… OUCH!!!
Efficiency:
We shot these BBs through just about every magazine of every model we could get our hands on.  From AKs to MP5s
to M16 variants, from TM, to CA, KWA, Echo-1, Systema, JG, KA, etc., there were was only one feeding issue.
That was the stock TM MP5 w/8.4v NiCad.  We deemed the AEG just did not have enough power to consistently cycle
the heavier BBs but did cycle, though astonishingly poor, with a 7.4v LiPo.  However, that same magazine
performed flawlessly in my CA B&T MP5.  Running the gambit of barrels, from a stock 6.08 to a Systema 6.05,
Prometheus 6.03 and a DB Customs 6.01, the BBs shot accurately and consistently with every trigger pull adding
both range and accuracy to the guns used (again, save for the stock TM).
Durability:
As mentioned in the Pros section, the BBBMAX BBs
are injection molded and are extremely dense.
You will never have issues with them chopping in
magazines or barrels.  There is also absolutely
no need to worry about them shattering upon
impact with mesh masks or upon impact with
tactical gear, AEGs, etc.  The downside is if
you hit a window, potentially even with a
ricochet, the window will give first having a
lesser density than the Biovals.
Final Thoughts:
I can go on and on about why every single player should be using these BBs; the outstanding performance, the
environmentally friendly aspect, the covert nature due to transparency, etc..  Rather than do so, we not only
shipped product sample bags of 100 to every subscriber, but courtesy of DED USA, provided a few full retail
bags to trusted players who we knew could give an honest, unbiased account of how well they work.
The following is what they had to say about Bioval's .27bbs.
The term “product endorsement” usually spurs people to automatically assume that the “star” or “celebrity”
promoting the product 90% of the time doesn’t believe or even use the product being endorsed.  Now while I don’t
consider myself a celebrity, a star, or anything remotely resembling either, I won’t lie to you and tell you
this strictly a review and isn’t a product endorsement, because, realistically, while more so a review, this is
both.  Every now and then a product comes along that actually revolutionizes the way we play and is deserving of
receiving our full endorsement.  There’ve only been a small handful of items, but it does happen.  I happened
upon Bioval’s .27bbs via a longtime friend who’d picked up a bag and suggested I do the same.  Needless to say,
I’ve been playing with them ever since.  But how to tell you guys about these BBs and just how good they are…
If we had the money and the resources to bust out the scientific equipment on a scale as grand as those certain
myth-popping guys, we’d do it in a heartbeat.  Unfortunately, like most everyone else, we don’t receive massive
amounts of cash to do tests so we have to make do with what we have.  So keeping that in mind, I’ve done my best
to paint a picture of how truly great these BBs are…
"There are a few factors that guarantee excellent performance in your airsoft guns; a clean barrel, a barrel
gauged to your bbs, the proper hop up setting and the quality of the BBs themselves. I use Bioval because they
are consistent in flight and these BBs float a long way to make that sweet shot of the day.  Also, being a
Systema PTW owner, I have had the misfortune of having to choose between shooting Bioval's .27bbs and replacing
the focus nozzle or using substandard BBs to keep the focus nozzle intact.  Personally, at the end of the day,
I just cannot sacrifice the performance I get with Bioval's BBs and am
more than happy to replace the focus
nozzle
in my PTW to maintain the level of performance I get from shooting their BBs."

"I've been playing the sport for many moons now, since the only guns on the market were Tokyo Marui and Crappic
Army (in all fairness, Classic Army has improved leaps and bounds since those days.  That said, still won't
touch their products).  So suffice to say, I've seen and used many, many BBs throughout my airsoft career.  I'm
currently shooting an Echo-1 Platinum M4 and after receiving Reaper's sample bag, have moved from religiously
shooting Killer Bees .28s to being a full-fledged convert to Bioval's BBBMAX BBs.  True, they're a bit more
expensive than your average bag of BBs, but no other BB on the market gives me the hang-time or the impact
force of Bioval's little clear nuggets of gold."

"In all my years of playing airsoft, I have rarely enjoyed using a product in combat as the BioVal BBs.  They
are very accurate and retain a lot of kinetic energy when fired, giving you the ability to TRUELY "reach out
and touch someone".  Their density help keep them going far beyond the range of more ordinary BBs.  Plus, they
are clear, making it very difficult to see them coming and tracking them back to the source!"
